Since 2001, Consulting Strategies has built a successful track record for delivering large scale, change management programmes, predominantly in the UK education sector. Working in partnership, the company has delivered a wide range of government policy remits which have included supporting the implementation of the National Workload agreement which tackles teacher workload, developing the Extended Schools agenda across 23,500 schools/150 local authorities and implementing performance management for teachers. We also provided support for the implementation of Targeted Youth Support in 2007 which was completed in Spring 2009.

Despite the enormity of our positive impact and outcomes, you’ve probably never heard our name. That’s because our focus is on delivering success for our clients as a seamless part of their organisation. We are extremely proud of our work, which has helped to achieve the following key improvements in English education:
- Teachers’ hours have been significantly reduced
- The support staff ratio is moving towards 50/50 with more community involvement within schools
- Teachers are now focused more on teaching and learning
- Schools are now able to extend the curriculum, provide more care, guidance and support for pupils and are reducing negative outcomes for those that are vulnerable
- There is now a platform for future initiatives
- There has been no significant industrial action throughout the implementation of our radical change programmes
- Capacity has been built into all of our programmes for continued success
